Welcome to the 2023 Candlewyck Barracudas Swim Team. We are back to a regular schedule this year! Practices will be Sunday - Thursday evenings beginning Monday May 15th.

We will be hosting other GCSL Division 4 teams for 4 home meets and visiting other pools for an additional 3 away meets. Our swimmers will also compete in the Green & White Time Trials meet on June 2nd to determine each swimmer's seed times for the season. The GCSL Division 4 All-Stars Meet will be held on Sunday, July 9th at 12pm.

Practice Times

• 5:00-5:30 - Shrimpers (6 & Under)
• 5:30-6:15 - 7-8
• 6:15-7:00 - 9-10
• 7:00-8:00 - 11 and up

Season Schedule

• March 26th - Registration Opens
• April 22nd - Suit Fitting and Meet the Coaches 1:00-3:00 (Bring a credit card to purchase your suit) 
• May 15th - FIRST DAY OF PRACTICE
• May 28th - No practice for Memorial Day
• May 29th - No practice for Memorial Day
• June 2nd - Green & White Meet at 5pm
• June 5th - Home Meet vs Fort Mill
• June 8th - Away Meet at Blakeney
• June 9th - Last day of school for CMS
• June 12th - Home Meet vs Crismark
• June 15th - Home Meet vs Stone Creek Ranch
• June 19th - Away Meet vs Raintree
• June 22nd - Home Meet vs Bridgemill
• June 26th - Away Meet vs Chimneys
• July 9th - GCSL Division 4 All-Stars, Rock Hill Aquatic Center, 12pm
• July 9th - End of Season Banquet

Participation is dependent on members being in good standing with the Candlewyck HOA. Any outstanding balance must be resolved with the HOA prior to participating in swim team events.
